We used real hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, and unique natural stones for all the hard surfaces. Our first purchase was a duplex where we lived in one unit and rented the other to a friend, which covered the mortgage so we assume a savvy investor will end up doing the same here. Not sure if you're local or where you're reading this from, but the new Maison Margiela restaurant is coming half a block away, along with the coolest shops on Abbot Kinney.
